After 15 years of black rule violent crime is pushing more Whites than ever out of South Africa. Large White diaspora, both English and Afrikaans, are sprouting up in England, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S. and Canada. It is conservatively estimated that since 1995 at least 800,000 Whites of over 4 million have left the country, mostly for England.

 

South Africa has become such a mess due to Black rule that just about everyone is dissatisfied. A recent survey reveals that although 41% of the remaining Whites want to leave, large numbers of other races want to follow suit. 42% of Coloureds (mixed race people), 38%of Blacks and 30% of Indians would like to leave the country.

 

However, it is White emigration that is killing the country, taking their brainpower, skills and money with them. The government would prefer not to admit the fact claiming that it is the global economy that lures Whites away. Nick Holland, chief executive of Gold Fields mining company says that it is far more common for skilled Whites to leave than Blacks or Indians. He says, "We must not stick our heads in the sand. White flight is a reality."

 

Many Whites find themselves living in barricaded colonies with armed guards patrolling the neighborhoods, unable to visit the downtown areas due to Black crime. Michael Katz, the Jewish chairman of a big law firm in Johannesburg, is promoting a book to convince Whites not to leave the "multi-cultural paradise". The book is called Don't Panic. The book promotes all the "good" reasons to stay but doesn't convincingly address the major issue of Black crime; the #1 reason all races say why they'd like to quit the country.

 

Compared to the rest of the world, South Africa's murder and rape rates are astronomical. It has reached a point where most Whites are either victims who survived or know friends or relatives who have been. Besides murder and rape, robbery, car-jackings and home invasions are also favorite Black pastimes.

 

On top of that, recent political and economic blows have added to the peoples misery. Mr. Katz's book argues two reasons to stay in South Africa is its good infrastructure and government. Yes, maybe, for a Third World country. But we know under White rule South Africa was once a First World country where the electricity was dependable never plunging homes, businesses and industry into darkness. But those were the days before experienced Whites were pushed out of their positions. Good infrastructure for Blacks is when the electricity is intermittent and rationing becomes necessary.

 

As far as government and constitution are concerned, retired Black Anglican archbishop Desmond Tutu describes the rulers of South Africa as suggestive in his own words as "a banana republic".  Additionally, Whites have watched the implosion of neighboring Zimbabwe's (former White ruled Rhodesia) Robert Mugabe turn that country into the Third World's version of Hell. Remaining Whites seriously ponder if that is to be their fate as well.

 

One White businessman who is emigrating to America said it was bad enough that he'd been held up and robbed at gun point twice but the salt in the wound was that in both cases the police didn't care to investigate. This example multiplied by tens of thousands of times has led to the shortage of skilled people thereby stunting South Africa's growth.

 

State schools can no longer provide quality training in science and math. 25,000 teachers have left the profession with only 7,000 to replace them. 50% of South African Blacks between the ages of 18 through 24 are unemployed. Half a million positions in government work are vacant because too few Blacks have the skills to fill them. Municipalities and hospitals are desperately short of help. Dentists are scarce. The government, desperate to fill 35,000 critical jobs and looking for foreign skilled help have fewer than 1200 applicants. While the Whites leave, millions of unskilled Blacks from neighboring countries are invading South Africa much as Mexico is invading us.
